Question No. 1

Convert (10101000)2 into decimal equivalent. You have to show all conversion steps.

Solution:

(10101000)2

= 1x2^7 + 0x2^­6 + 1x2^5 + 0x2^4 + 1x2^3 + 0
= 128 + 32 + 8
= 168

You are required to solve the given Boolean Expression by filling the following truth table.

Question 1 Answer will be written as 168 or (168)10 ???

Can be written either way. Both options are correct, as 168 cannot be binary or base 2, so it is obvious that its a base 10 number.
But if you want to show it specifically, you can write it as (168)10
